Shelley Zapp, President of UNIT4 Business Software Receives Camosun College 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award

Victoria, B.C. UNIT4 Business Software announced today that Shelley Zapp has been recognized by Camosun College as their 2011 Distinguished Alumnus. Ms. Zapp graduated from Camosun College’s Technology in Computing, Business Option program in 1984 before continuing her education at The University of Victoria and Royal Roads. In accepting her award, Ms. Zapp addressed more than 1,500 graduates and guests assembled for convocation.  “I wanted to share with the graduates the three most important lessons I’ve learned about building a successful career, and those are to remain a life-long learner, to develop your communication skills and to work hard and use your initiative,” said Ms. Zapp.  Shelley Zapp is a member of the Computer Systems Technology Advisory Board at Camosun and is an active participant in Victoria’s technology and business community.
